Learn How To Detect Signs of a Stroke

Although strokes are expected to affect more elderly people than younger people, that trend is starting to shift a little due to today’s lifestyle and dieting.  If someone suffers a stroke, they are in a fight against time.  Depending on how quick that individual receives medical help will determine whether they survive and how severe their side effects will be.  What many of us do not know, is how to read early signs of stroke.  Wouldn’t you like to be able to prevent a stroke from happening if you knew how?

Here are the most common signs to watch out for:

  1. Slurred speech, loss of speech or trouble understanding.
  2. Dizziness, losing balance and/or falling inexplicably.
  3. Sudden vision problems.
  4. Weakness in the arms or legs.
  5. Numbness in the face.
  6. Sudden and severe mysterious headaches.

By knowing these indicators, you could help not only yourself, but others in preventing a potential stroke.
